We contracted with John to do a complete landscaping overhaul of a home the Family recently purchased in Dupont Commons in Northwest Atlanta. The Family is thrilled with the outcome. The improvement in curb appeal is astonishing. John believes in the old saying that, “prior preparation prevents poor performance” so he worked with us in preparing a landscaping design that we were all in agreement with and then went about executing the design to perfection.
Next, he was one of the few landscape architects who actually understood what the elements of a bid were supposed to contain. We should know-we reviewed 15 bids on the project. Chief among them being that it should contain materials and labor broken out separately per line item and rolled up into a final bid. He easily displays his professionalism not only in the landscaping results he delivers but his business acumen in delivering the project within the cost structure laid out in his bid. John won not because he was the lowest bidder but because he projected the best value for the money spent. Period.
